What happens when a head gasket blows? 900

So for the past couple days, whenever i turn off my 93 940 NA there has been antifreeze blowing up all over the place.. While looking at the resevoir tank it will fill with antifreeze quickly and then start blowing out the top.. Followed by being blown out some little rubber stopper on the the passenger side of the radiator.

So could this be my head gasket?? Or what the heck could it be?

Anyways i have an appoinment on the 21st at a Volvo dealerto have them look it all over and tell me what the heck is going on with it. I just wanted to go to them with some sort of idea what to tell them is going on...

Thanks in advance!

Tonka
