Alignment in the garage? 120-130

Well, the A-arms are equally shimmed so I was thinking that I could do the 1mm shim without too much worry and then check toe and camber after the change. Or just have an alignment shop to the standard job afterwards. This would give me an idea of how much a 1 degree caster change affects everything.

The tires are the original size skinnies so I don't see much sense in doing any negative camber or that sort of thing. Just want it to cruise a little easier.

The commute is about 42 miles each way, four days a week. About as easy as a commute can get; all but about one mile is I-70. With the new engine the car keeps up with traffic pretty decently. Comfort will improve over the summer as new door seals and a real interior and such go in. A/C is the only thing I think I'll be missing come August.

Could you give details on the jig to check toe? Maybe a "go, no-go" gauge to compare distance front and back of the tires?

Thanks,

-Mario
