1986 245 DL a/c compressor and condensor fan wiring 200

Hello, I've got an 1986 240 DL wagon that I picked up for cheap because the blower motor had died. After many hours and some bloody knuckles I got the new motor installed but I accidently broke the capillary tube on the a/c switch. To make things worse, a friend disconnected all the wires from the a/c switch and couldn't remember how they were attached. I've since got another switch from a Volvo used parts store but I'm not sure of the wiring. I went to the local Volvo junkyard, and checked the wiring in about 10 different 240s but none had the same colored wires as mine and the wiring was different on most of them.

I should also add that the previous owner converted the a/c to R134a and added a condensor fan.

So here is what I current have at the a/c switch.

Connector with two green wires (connected to bottom of a/c switch)
Connector with one green wire and one red wire. The red wire is short (about 2 inches and has another connector) (green and white connected to top of a/c switch and other end of short red wire connected to back (farthest from the front of the instrument panel) connector on the microswitch (on the left of the a/c switch)
One red wire connected to the front of the microswitch.
Capillary tube wrapped around hose going into evaporator close to where the original tube still is. All the black gunk here made me nervous so I didn't want to peel too much back to find out how to get the original off. I just peeled a little back and wrapped the capillary tube around the metal hose.

1st question: How should I hook the wires up?
2nd question: Is it o.k. to just wrap the capillary tube around the tube where the original one was attached.
3rd question: Which wire goes to the compressor.
4th question: Will a bad relay cause the condensor fan to continue running, even when the key is off?

Now for a bit more information:

When I turn the switch on, the engine idle increases and the fan switches on to its lowest setting which I've read on past postings is correct. However, I can't get the compressor to start. The system is fully charged and the compressor works and I get cold air if I run the black wire from the compressor to the battery +.

The compressor is wired to a green/white wire going to a relay near the battery. A giant green resistor (similar to the one by the blower motor) is also hooked up to a black wire from the condensor fan and then runs into the same relay. However, when hooked up, the condensor fan runs constantly, even when the car is turned off. The previous owner unhooked the wire to the condensor fan when this started happening but told me that it used to work properly.

Sorry for the long post, but I figured I'd lay all my a/c wiring woes on the table at once rather than breaking them up into multiple posts. Please help, I'll feel I'm so close to having proper working a/c.
