Substitue solid engine mounts for hydraulic mounts 700 1986

Hello,
I changed my motor and transmission mounts on my 1986 740 GLE, non-turbo. Replacing the motor mounts cured the fan hitting the radiator shroud. However, I now can really feel engine vibration and hear the drone from the exhaust system. I obtained the mounts from my local part store and the package says they were made in Germany. I have double checked for engine/exhaust contact with chassis and all is clear. I have loosened the engine mounts to make sure that not are under tension and that the engine is centered. It just seems that the new mounts are too hard. So now I want to try hydraulic mounts. Can I substitute hydraulic mounts for solid mounts without modification or do I need to obtain the appropriate hardware from a 740 already equipped with hydraulic mounts.
