Oil Question S90-V90

1,500 miles to a quart, my engine was getting that when it was new.
Only swapped the engine out when I was adding a quart every tank of gas. Would show some oil smoke on initial start up in the morning for a few seconds.

Contrary to what the dealer told me 13 years ago, it did not get better with use, just gradually worse. On tear down of that engine, the rings were worn badly, also they were encased in burned off oil/carbonized oil, the cylinders were shot too, the pistons wiggled in their bores. The insides of the top main block were coated in brown and black crust of fried oil. The oil pan was spotless.

Find a friend with a lift, I was kind of fun to do the swap.
