Postback about fuel system 700

Use premimum gas in that car. Please don't use lawnmower or old boat gas in your Volvo, it deserves better.
You probably pushed the varnished bad gas and water that was in it into the filter. The cheap gas additive/cleaner is mostly alcohol, which, like dri-gas fuel line antifreeze, mixes with the water and allows it to burn. It will also dissolve the varnishes that come from old gas. Warning too much alcohol concentration is not good for the FI system, nor is the crud from old gas. It will take out the fuel pump and injectors in little time.
I would change the fuel filter, drain the tank as best you can and add fresh gas with a pint of Techron now and then.
