Help in identifying engine block and head 1800

I know its a B20 block that is stamped on the block as well as 496940, which I believe designates a B20E block, so that was put in the car at some point.

What I am wondering about is what kind of head is on there and is it worth having atotal valve job done on it if its the wrong one in the first place.
