Playful Gnomes? 120-130 1966

Howdy all,

Saturday morning when I opened the door to start my weekly commute I spied a tiny washer on the driver's seat. It is very small; maybe 3/32 ID. I have no idea where it came from. I moved it to the passenger's seat and proceeded with my morning routine.

I drove the car again Saturday evening, Sunday morning and evening, and back to work on Monday morning.

Monday evening when I opened the door to start my return commute I saw a tiny little C-clip in the exact location I had seen the washer. I haven't a clue where it came from or what it was holding.

Either the Parts Pixies and Hardware Fairies are playing games with me or these pieces came from the steering column. Is there anything in there that uses a tiny C-clip and washer?
