Another A/C question. 200 1982

Hello,

I had the same problem on my 82 that turned out to be the microswitch on the AC temp control. There is a small microswitch on the control that opens the circuit to the AC when it is in the full counterclock direction. That switch broke off the main unit which kept the idle high. Also the brake may be blocking the full movement of the conrol to off. Take the switch out and look it over to verify thats whats wrong. I fixed mine with crazy glue 5 years ago.
