Help in installing orginal trunk handle. Photos? 120-130

I want to install the original trunk handle (the curvy, sexy one that was appropriate for the 1963 and earlier). in my trunk, it looks like the previous owner had to cut a little bit to allow the newer (1964-70) Squarish handle and then filled in the circle holes for the threads on the outer (wide) parts since the width of the early handle is much greater.

Can someone post some photos of their early handle so I make sure I do this right?

Photos from outside and the inside views would be very much appreciated.

P.S. Anyone know if I can take the lock cylinder from my squarish handle which matches my doors and put it in the early (63) handle?
