2 Catalytic converter questions 200

My converter in my Volvo 245 started rattling due to the internals coming loose. I have the old one out and wonder if anyone can recommend a decent one to get? There are alot of brands to choose from. It is non EGR and has the O2 sensor in the converter.

I also have a used converter with a spin flange and wonder if that could be used with a downpipe with a solid flange. This would save me having to buy a new one.
