Recieved A BADGE Not A Decal !!! ........ 200 1986

Wow ! I am thrilled to report that Today I recieved from Volvo 200,000 mile Badge. As regulars here may recall last month I posted that when I inquired of Volvo when I would recieve my 200,000 mile badge which I had requested in March I was told that there would no longer be badges and instead there would be decals. Well last week I called and was told that decals were still on order and it would probably be another 10x to 12x weeks before they came in. I guess sensing my unhappiness with length of time it was taking coupled with my unhappiness with getting a decal instead of a badge customer service person asked me to hold while they checked into this. A few minutes later I was quite delighted to hear that they found some badges and would send me one out. Did not get customer service persons name. So it appears that Volvo still does have some badges left. So if you want one instead of decal I suggest that you request one ASAP and hopefully you will get as lucky as I did and get one. I must say that I am really really happy with excellent and thoughtful service from Volvo in this matter so I say big thanks to Volvo. Good luck to my fellow Brickboarders with this whole badge/decal matter.
