Why? Catastrophic coolant loss...

Ok, so why me, poor me, etc.

Anyway, car is pouring, no, squirting coolant out, apparently where the block and head meet. I can't see exactly where it starts, but it appears to be under the intake manifold and slightly in front of the starter.

Wah.
The only thing I can think it is is the head gasket. I don't have any chance to look at it as I was driving back to work when I happened to notice the temp gauge up high (not to the red, but close enough and the heater started coming out cold).
I was hoping someone could point out the hose I don't know is there, but I don't think there is a hose.
