still have vibration and drumming in the floor - change with outside temperatures ??? 700

I've posted before about a buzzing or vibration that rings through my whole car from the rear view mirror to the floor pan - 91 745T wagon with automatic. I've done everything in the FAQ including replacing the motor mounts and trans mounts, except still have not gotten a replacement for the missing head pipe support.

Tail shaft bushing fine, U joints fine, center hanger fine. Not strictly speed dependent, does change with engine load, does not happen when shifted to neutral while rolling, can rev engine while in neutral and rolling at 50 mph and make it vibrate. I think that eliminates the drive line. Have removed the flex fan and am running an electric fan. Not objectionalbe when in neutral and revved when parked. I'm zeroing in on the exhaust.

I was really complaining about this during the winter. Now that it's warmer, it's not so noticable. But, we've had a couple of cold days/mornings again, and the vibration is back.

Everything (exhaust) is hung properly, the hangers seem free and pliable. I have loosened and retightened the head pipe coming off the turbo to make sure it's aligned after raising the engine on the new mounts. Nothing is touching anywhere.

I'm sure that the exhaust is the issue at this point.

Is the head pipe bracket important?
Is there anything else I should be looking at?

thanks,
mike
