advice needed on '83 240 turbo value for salvage 200 1983

I am going to look at a 240 turbo this weekend,and want to know what to look for. The car has been wrecked (severity unknown..she said just front end damage) and the owner is wanting to get it out of the way. She said she would take whatever a salvage yard might give (minus the pickup charge). I have never owned a 240 turbo and am totally ignorant as to what the trouble spots are. Right now my plan is to part it out, but don't know what would be a good price to offer. Any ideas on the best use also will be appreciated.
