how important are transmission mounts?

Well, you don't want it to break...

I know that may not help you decide, but at 150k if you haven't done it and can spare the $150, do it.

If you can NOT spare the $150, find out if it is "worn" or if it is "Broken".

I replace those at every other major service, along with engine mounts, whether they need it or not. But that's just me, and I do it on my own, so I'm only out parts cost for it.
