turn signal switch - cleanable? 200 1993

Hey All,
my turn signals just quit the other day - no noise, no lites etc. The 4 ways work fine so I've eliminated the relay, grounds, fuses, etc column adn I am zeroing in on the stalk switch. I saw a post in the 700 FAQ saying that the 7/940 switches can be disassembled and cleaned. Does anybody know if the 240 ones can be as well?? Want to jump into it tonite but if it's a sealed unit I'll go ahead and bite the bullet and order one from FCP Groton - they have it listed for $28. This is non-cruise control.
TIA,
Sammy
