Kingsborne wires are good, and they're 8mm. The price is not really more than the price of OEM Bougicord wires. Plus, you can pick them in different colors! I bought a set for under $40 (s/h included). The wires with metal jackets cost more though. I've heard that you should avoid the Bosch wires. Btw, I heard that the iPd wires with the iPd logo on them are actually Kingsborne.
