Wet spot in passenger floorboard. Question of source? 700 1992

Found a wet spot under the mat in the carpet of the passenger floorboard front seat. If you ran a plumb line straight down to it, it is located directly below the front edge of the glove compartment right under the lock. I believe it might be the drip pan being stopped up, but I am not sure, in that I have not checked it well yet. The spot is NOT coolant, it is water. Aside from this, what else could it be? Thanks
