Brake line flaring tool 140-160

Hello Craig,

As I recollect, there are 3 types of common brake flares.

1st was single flare, then double flare and bubble flare.

I believe you will find that the flare to the caliper is a bubble flare and the flare for the end that goes to the flex hose is a double flare.

You idea of buying a premade bubble flare brake line and then cutting off one end and then double flaring is the easiest way and WAS the way I used to do the job until I finally bought a bubble flare tool kit.

Make sure that you use the correct brake line flare nuts and you may have to re-use your old ones.
