Not a 240 issue, but rather an intermediate update on the Eclipse in my tag line 200

Sean:

This car has never been "scary", well, er, uh, except when the engine grenaded due to a failed injector while running 10PSI of boost! The early Talons are absolute monsters from the get go, a 2000 4 Cylinder Eclipse is more like a Ford Escort performance wise from the factory.

That being said, this engine was never designed to be boosted, I boosted it at 10PSI for 3 years, and it finally blew. Now I have done my best to build the bottom end and head to deal with the 15+ PSI boost. If all works out, with 10PSI of air in the front tires, I'm expecting a 5.5Sec 0 to 60 time. Please note, I'm not into quarter mile times, but rather a monster that handles well and can be "steered/controlled" by the gas pedal to get the road course job done!

Once this job is done and proven on the track, the next project will be the B230/B234 clone boosted engine for the 92 245! I can hardly wait, especially considering that the 245 handles better than the Eclipse!
