looks like Ford cancelled the metal high mileage badge 200

once again, ford screws loyal volvo owners:

all,
I called the volvo customer service for my high mileage badge, to try to get a metal one for my 92 245 before they go to the paper decal.

i asked specifically if ford was the one who cancelled the metal badges and began the decals.

the customer service guy said yes. i cannot confirm he is right, but it makes sense.

a suggestion: i would gladly pay maybe $10 to get a metal badge than to have as a substitute some flimsy decal.

i guess this means ford doesn't expect or want volvo to have their cars to easily reach 300k miles or more.

i'll never buy a ford for many reasons.

just my impression.

regards,
