Brake Flush and Fluid Quantity Needed 700 1990

I use Castrol LMA and it takes most of the quart I purchase for that purpose.

The method I use is to replace the MC cap with one that I have installed a Schrader valve in the center. I then use a small bicycle (frame)pump attached to the valve to pressurize the system with a bleeder open.

I would not use a helper pumping the brake pedal. The seals on the piston will explore areas that have previously not been visited and the buildup of crude in that bore could ruin the seals resulting in a failed master cylinder.
