Ditch Car with no bids and rising price 120-130

This car has been through the eBay auction at least 3 times now with no interest and not selling for the $500.00 starting bid. I can see a lot of potential, even if it has been sitting in a Texas ditch, but I thought $500.00 was a bit too steep for the mystery factor of bottom-end body rust.

Well, after some communication and sharing some model information with the seller, he's relisted it again, this time at almost twice the original start ($900.00). He insists that it is a really "rare" car that is worth a lot and won't sell for <$500.00. I shudder to think of the seller listing fees he's racking up with this thing.

Sure, it's probably a 68, but it does not appear to be a GT nor to have overdrive. Plus the engine and gearbox (condition unknown) is in the trunk.

I personally think the guy is crazy and must think his junk is ultra-valuable.
He sees nice cars going for $1500.00 and assumes that a rusty half-disassembled Amazon is really a gold mine of a car.
