light switch? S90-V90

I have a 98 v90 146k . My headlight switch stopped working. Normally when you turn the key on,the headlights come on ,daytime running lights. When I turned the switch to turn the lights on there were no lights. So I was driving at night with the running lights on and no dash lights. Now I don't even have running lights so I have to drive the 68 220 at night. I lost my Indi mech. and will not go to the volvo dealer. Is this something that could be repaired without taking the entire dash apart? Looking at tha switch area, I don't really see how it would come out. There is a little hole with what looks like a screw recessed in.
