My new S90 S90-V90

We'll I just bought a 1998 S90 (79K Miles). I check out all the reviews and it seemed to be highly rated for both performance and durability. So I paid more then I would for a similar American car thinking that I'm buying a really reliable vehicle. But, then I check out our brickboard's FAQ and I almost gaged!

As a summary, it says, DON'T buy a 960 or S90. It also says: "Reports from Brickboard buyers are not encouraging about the reliability and cost to repair these cars." Ouch.


Anyways, since it's mine to have and hold, I'm going to do all the maintenance that's not been done. The belts we're changed at 58K (I got the records from the Volvo shop that he used), and regular oil changes. Besides that, he didn't do much. So I'm planning on:

1.) Drain the coolant and refill it with Volvo true blue and distilled water.

2.) Replace the plugs.

3.) Flush the brake fluid.

4.) Flush the transmission fluid.


Can you all think of anything else that I need to do??
