side mount distributor rebuild 200 1986

I'm getting ready to rebuild an 86 model, B230F distributor as a preventive maintenance measure. This particular distributor has about 3/16" play of verticle movement in the shaft. I ordered the Hall Sensor and "o" ring last night but did not see any reference to a thrust washer that would take up the slack (which would allow a several degree timing change as the gear rides up under initial load.) Does anyone have information about the dimensions on these distributors?

Thanks,
