a/c clutch removal-Help! 900 1995

Hoping someone has experience with this. I need to remove the clutch from my 95 960 to remove one or more shims and adjust the gap. I removed the center bolt but can't get the clutch to come off. How much force should it take and how is the best way to apply that force? I tried using flat screwdrivers to pry but it won't budge. Is it splined onto the shaft? Thanks for any tips/tricks you might have.
