Torque Values S90-V90

Hi, Why don`t you do what is suggested by the makers? Torque is obtained by the type of metal type of thread and the size of the thread for optimum tightness. It is not decided by people having a discussion! Most of the questions put on this board are because owners never take any notice of what Volvo say.The next thing will be how to mend a stripped bolt hole in a 960 engine sump pan? Also i read about spares from different manufacturers always letting them down, and they have only just replaced that part.Surely if you have paid extra for your nice Volvo then why not use Volvo parts even if they are more expensive, you will only need them the once.To buy a cheaper part and replace it soon after again as it wears quicker is surely idiot! We have the same thing over here with different manufacturers, in reality you only get what you pay for, whatever it is. Regards
