Too Much? 200 1986

Doesn't seem like too much to me, but then I'm a Volvo lover. To your average joe, yeah, seems like a lot for an unremarkable 20 year old car.

Unless you have a personality problem or an offensive odor I think you can get your $1500 for the car, but only if you make sure it is cleaner and shinier than ever before when a buyer looks at it, take an entire weekend to clean eveything inside and out. Also, take some better pictures - maybe an aspiring photographer friend could help? - because the one in your ad makes the car look grungy.

Take about 100 digital photos at varying angles and times of day, in a pretty setting and without the wetspots then pick the best few, and I guarantee you'll get more hits. I had several people ask about my rusty, stumbling '82 GL that was missing trim and filthy dirty because I took a good picture with a nice back drop. $700. Not until they saw it in person did they go, "Oh...looks nicer on Craigslist..." Still ended up giving it to a friend who has put another 10k miles on the 300k mile odometer.

Good luck.
