Shocking question

If you want a stock ride (not too soft, not too firm) go with Boge Automatics. These are OEM replacements and a set of two shocks, two struts will set you back only $200.00.

Bilsteins are supposed to be "the poop" for these cars. The only thing that they have going for them, in my opinion, and the only thing that justifies their price is that they last 100,000+ miles. My 240 rode like a BMW M series with them installed, ride was VERY firm and very unforgiving of poorly maintained city streets. I suppose that some people like this for the 'road feel' but for me it was too much. The guys who build up Amazon's and 1800's for rallying seem to love Bilstein shocks - this is probably a better application for 'em than a daily driver.

Go grab a set of sway bars from a 240 turbo on eBay or at the J/Y.
