Odometer Repair/Replacement??? 700 1992

I'm looking for some assistance from my fellow brickboarders! The odometer died in my 1992, 740 turbo but the speedometer is still working fine. I took it out and checked it using the FAQ info and found nothing stuck/out of order. I'm afraid the motor or circuit to it is bad. Any more tips on checking/repair aside from sending it to a repair facility? I put a want add here on the brickboard so if you have a working unit for the 92, 740 or I believe the 940 is the same, let me know. Thanks.
