early 240s: any major downfalls? 200

I've owned and loved several 240s (got a '90 wagon, and my son has a really nice '83 manual wagon), but all have been later models with the later fuel injection system.

I'm wanting something for fun, and had thought about an Amazon, but I can't find one that's not a rust bucket. Lately, I've been taken with the '75-'78 (yes?) 242s. I like the look: the round headlights, the roofline, etc.

Having never dealt with K-Jetronic fuel injection, I was wonderng: are there any major downsides? Are there any caveats about early 240s in general?

I'd love to find one in one of the funky earth tone colors they used to do!

Thanks!

monty
