Back after a long absence - where are the A/C schrader valves on a '88 245? 200 1988

Helping a buddy out who picked up a 1988 245 today. I have been absent from the scene for a while - I gave my old 86 245 to my sister-in-law a couple years ago and started fooling with Mercedes-Benz diesels (I'm a glutton for punishment). I helped my buddy pick this 88 up for a song, but the air conditioner is blowing warm air. The A/c compressor clutch kicks in and the compressor turns. For the life of me, I couldn't find the schrader valves to attach my gages (I'm assuming its still R-12, but won't know until I find the valves!). Any help appreciated.
