sluggish 240 200 1986

Hi All. Just purchased immaculate one-owner (elderly gent) 1986 240GL sedan - 77000kms. Always garaged so looks like new. Goes well BUT seems down on power when compared to our other Volvos ('88 240 - 190000kms,'89 240 - 285000kms). I have checked, double-checked pretty much everything - tuned, cleaned, replaced all consumables (belts, hoses, leads, fluids etc. etc.) Is anyone able to help with ideas - all I can think of is that the bores may be glazed from underuse and perhaps the car isn't even run in yet? Maybe she will free up with a few thousand more on the clock? Ideas????

Cheers from Barossa Valley South Australia.
