List e-mail notifications gone wild!

I created a post last Saturday concerning a water temperature sensor, and selected the "E-mail notification" check box.

My question was promptly answered (as usual), and another user chimed in on Sunday with a follow-up question.

I've since received an e-mail notification for his/her post EVERY TEN MINUTES. Since Sunday! This is well over one hundred e-mails!

I've sent a message to the list mom (I think), but haven't heard back.

Does anyone know how to make this stop???
