Alignment 200 1991

Our recent annual drive from Md. to Fla. showed only 2 flaws on the 244. One was a vibration over 75 mph, which I am hoping to fix by having all 4 wheels rebalanced.
The other was a slight pull to the right(more than I feel is acceptable), which I hope an alignment will fix.
Problem is(and most of you will relate), I have a severe distrust of anyone working on any of my cars. My experience has been:
1. They are inventing problems so that they can make extra money.
2. They know much less than I do about Volvos.
3. Their mechanical skill involves a hammer and a wrecking bar.

Anyway, I'm looking for advice on getting an alignment done. Can I do it myself? How do I find someone reputable?
