Thump when shifting S90-V90 1998

if it's making a thump, yo may have a bad motor mount or a bad transmission mount. Put the car on ramps and lay down near (NOT UNDERNEATH) it and have some one engage the transmission to make the thump. If you see a lot of motion, one of the mounts may have gone sour.
