These tires were replaced in 1992 on the 71 164 I bought last month. The car has been stored in a garage, and the tires are not dry-rotted. They do, however, lose air over a few weeks. I assume they need to beremounted. In any case,I am going to install 195/65/15 tires, and I need to know if the current tires are trash due to their age?
