HAVING A HELL OF A TIME REINSTALLING AC COMPRESSOR! 200 1988

Greetings. I believe that I have the upper mounting bolts in correctly on the ac
compressor but am stymied by the lower two mounting lugs. The front one lines up against the inside of the front bracket bushing(bolted onto the block), but there is a bushings worth of space ,
about 3/8 inch , between the rear bracket lug bushing and the a rear lower compressor lug. I believe that there are two bolts to secure these parts.
Did I lose a bushing? A picture of this arrangement would be great.

Also, is it easier to reattach the hoses to the compressor before or after it is mounted, and how tight should the hose fittings be? I have new o rings on hand. I presume that they needn't be too tight since there is an o ring involved. thanks ,Larry
