240 High-MPG project car wins employee car show 200

A sign of the times perhaps?

My workplace decided to host a classic car show for employees.

My '89 245 MPG project car won first place!
Other entries included three or four 'Vettes, a 1929 Model T, and a Triumph Spitfire. Every one of those was far cleaner and far shinier than my car.

I was out there for a couple hours answering questions, showing printed materials and showing what I'd done to get 30-32 mpg highway from a car who's EPA numbers are 17/22.

I definitely couldn't have gotten to this point without all the help from fellow Brickboarders - thanks!
