Something else to try at the ECU 200 1988

Hi Randy,

A stab in the dark here, after seeing you're using the Bentley ECU pin tests. Your test from pin 13 to fuel relay 87/2 showed continuity OK. I think all that means is a normal complete circuit for normal running. But if the ground side (between the injectors and pin 13) was shorted to ground somewhere, your 13 to 87/2 could still look OK, but the injectors would always be open as long as the Fuel relay was energized.

It's a long shot, but unplug all 4 injectors again and do a continuity test between pin 13 and ground—or pin 25, the ground used by the ECU to "fire" the injectors. There should be NO continuity.
