radiator replacement--what else, while I'm at it? 700 1992

Instead of replacing the radiator, I would have it rodded out. If you have a plastic sided (caps) one, I would say upgrade to a metal sided one.

I changed my water pump and found its fins had corroded off... 0.o
I'm looking at about 100 thousand more miles than you though.

Fan switch? Are you saying it has an electric fan? I want to go electric and I'd rather use a volvo one. Maybe you mean the thermostat plug?

I would swap the coolant too and rinse the intercooler. Mine had about half an ounce of oil in it, didn't seem to be a lot to me.

I'd take into consideration that to change the water pump, you need to remove the radiator for the room.

Whatever you decide, Good luck.
