Any ideas? 120-130

I can't recall reading any mention of the condensor David. Or the breaker point gap. When the gap closes up the symptoms will be much like you describe, and a condensor will also produce the same. If they haven't been replaced, use new Bosch components. You might also have a look at the valve lash.
It isn't an ignition secondary problem, and I don't think a fuel problem. To eliminate fuel is easy - when it acts up shut it off and immediately pinch the delivery line from the pump to the front carb. Then lift the float chamber covers off and check the levels.
I have seen the HS jet delivery pipes get plugged with debris from the bottom of the chambers, but that normally causes poor running from the start. Yours sounds heat related.
condensor
breaker point gap
valve lash.
Those are my guess from this distance.
