In-tank fuel line hose upgrade 200

Thanks yet again to postings with suggestions and advice from Mr. Lucid and Mr. Benstein, I'm on the trail of another improvement/upgrade for my old 240 wagon. I'm looking for some submersible fuel line to replace the short length of hose in the tank between the in-tank pump and the exit pipe. Mr. Lucid has suggested in an earlier posting the submersible Gates hose #27093, designed to resist invasive gasoline decrepitude. It's about 22 bucks for the foot-length item. I might be able to find it locally, but I might need only three or four inches myself. Would anyone like to share the rest?

Thanks again for all the good advice!
