What kind of EFan Options for a 240 86 Model? 200 1986

Hello,

1986 245DL 213K Automatic, AKA Inga, my faithful piston slappin kitten.

So now that Inga has a working AC again, time to resolve the lack of good air movement across the coils at Red Lights and lower speeds. So in that regard went down to the PUP today to get a couple of compressor connector's (the insulation fell of Inga wires). Decided to look for a possible efan from a donor car. Found a craked large round fan on a 740 that looked like the same size as the evap on a 240. But that one was cracked and a general mess. Went to a couple of other models of Volvo but nothing fit the bill. Even checked out other cars without luck.

Have also decided to move the horns by the and take out that center brace that holds them. That restricts quite a bit of airflow by just being in the way.

So if you did not want to spend $200 to $300 for a new fan, what model cars would you look for? Have looked for a 93 240 without luck. If anyone has seen one in a yard in the Greater Houston area let me know.

Thanks and Regards,

PT
