Front door speaker grille removal 900

Hey Everyone,

I want to replace the front door speakers in my '95 944T. (The door panels are from a '92 though, if that makes any difference). Is it possible to remove the speaker grilles off the front door panels just by popping them off or do you have to remove the entire door panel to get at those speakers ?

I tried popping one of the front door grilles off and one of the bottom corners seemed to come free fairly easily. The other bottom corner wasn't coming off as easy, however, so I stopped because I didn't want to force anything until I made sure they were supposed to come off that way.

If they do pop off, is there any secrets or gotchas I should know about before I go trying to pry them off ?

Do the rear door grilles pop off as well ?

Thanks,

Roger
