I could not understand how (or why) he got a Chevy racing wheel unto those splines. As it turns out, he must have been a good welder with a lot of time on his hands because he took the steering column, cut off it off about halfway up the shaft and welded the latter end of a Chevy column with the smaller splines to fit the wheel. I was scratching my head for awhile until i pulled the column for further inspection and saw the weld bead. Luckily I was able to rescue the original from my parts car. If anyone wants that column, its all theirs for shipping (Ill include the wheel too!)
