Seized Engine on a 1990 240DL

Hey Tiffany,
How did that happen?
If the car is in good conditon it is worth it to replace the engine. You can get a replacement engine for around $350.00.

Here in sacramento calif, I can have the engine replaced for about $900(including engine). Of course, if I do it myself it cost less.

Replacing a volvo engine aint that difficult if you have the right equipment, and you know how to do it. Your quest would be to know, or find someone who qualifies in these areas, and is interested in making 5-600 bucks for relatively little work. Or do it yourself.

It all depends on what you want, and what you can afford.

L.
