b230f

I have an '89 volvo penta in my boat that through a rod and busted several holes in the block . The block is a B230. Someone near where I live is selling an 86 volvo with a b230f.my question is can anyone tell me if i can use this block and put my head, intake, exhaust manifold, etc. on it. My concern is the distributor is in the head on the b230f but it has the casting for the block mount dist. and fuel pump is just capped with a plate. Does this motor have the counter shaft in it that would be needed to drive the dist. and the fuel pump since the counter shaft in my original motor is broken? Any help would be appreciated.
